Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information
This page explains Filmclusive’s current CPRA-style opt-out controls for analytics, experiments, preference storage, and related data-sharing behavior.
Filmclusive defaults Do Not Sell to opted out until a user makes a choice. Global Privacy Control signals are treated as an active opt-out.
What this control covers
This control is primarily aimed at analytics, experimentation, and similar data-sharing or measurement flows. It does not disable storage or processing that is required to provide the service you asked us to provide, such as authentication, file hosting, security logging, payments, or account operations.
Current sharing and tracking paths
Internal analytics summaries
Enhanced analytics services can materialize summaries from the same Firestore data for internal product and operational use.
PostHog + Speed Insights
PostHog product analytics and Speed Insights load only after analytics consent and remain off when Do Not Sell or Global Privacy Control is active.
Consent and preference storage
Filmclusive stores consent, cookie, and Do Not Sell choices in local storage and cookies so those preferences persist across visits.
Experiments & Feature Flags
Experiment assignments are disabled and local experiment storage is cleared when Do Not Sell is active.
How Filmclusive enforces the opt-out
The current app checks both analytics consent and Do Not Sell status before loading optional analytics providers. Authenticated activity tracking enforces the same controls at session, event, queue, and persistence boundaries; revocation clears queued events before they can be written.
When Do Not Sell is active, Filmclusive also disables experiment persistence and clears local experiment assignments in the current implementation.
Global Privacy Control
If your browser exposes a Global Privacy Control signal, Filmclusive treats that as an immediate Do Not Sell opt-out and stores that preference locally so it is respected during the session and future visits.

What this page does not mean
Do Not Sell is not the same as deleting your account or preventing all processing. Filmclusive still processes information needed to authenticate users, secure the service, store your files, complete payments, fulfill requests, and comply with law.
